Spectrum
Project description: I designed this application at the SWE hack-a-thon with a team of very talented human-centered designers. We chose to design for users who use many medications and we created SPECTRUM. SPECTRUM is a medication mood tracking application that empowers patients to take control of their health care. Our goal was to create an application where people who used medication could track their moods and symptoms long term, and notice patterns that they can share with their health care provider.

Design
With our design we created three key pathways for our application. In addition we chose our branding around a color-blind friendly palette. The name spectrum is derived from the idea that moods are all across the spectrum.
Medication Logging 💊
Our application allows people to input medication manually or through scanning the barcode. This allows our users to create a list of current medications, set reminders to take their medication, and take notes on each medication.
Mood Tracking📈
Our application allows users to track their mood every day on a sliding scale. Users can also leave notes about how their feeling to share with their provider later.
Calendar Trending🗓
Our application synthesizes the medication and mood information in a calendar and daily report format. The calendar allows people to have a long term catalog of their medication and related moods to make informed decisions about their prescriptions.
